The 2013-2014 Federal Duck Stamp and Junior Duck Stamp will go on sale Friday, June 28, 2013 at 10 a.m., beginning with a First Day of Sale ceremony at the BassPro Shops retail outlet in Ashland, Virginia. The Federal and Junior Duck Stamp artists will be on-hand at the ceremony to sign autographs, and attendees will have the chance to be among the first to purchase the new stamps. Others can purchase the new stamp starting June 28 at their local post office, most major sporting goods stores and large chain stores that sell hunting and fishing licenses, at many national wildlife refuges, or online in some states. Since 1934, the Migratory Bird Hunting and Conservation Stamp ("Duck Stamp") has provided more than $800 million, conserving over 6 million acres of crucial habitat throughout the United States and its territories.
