Karen BollingerThe weather forecast for today was definitely much better than the actual conditions proved to be.

Our plans to quickly and easily finish the 4 transect lines in stratum 40 (north of Brandon) did not mesh with reality. The higher elevation of the transect lines met with low ceilings and fog; and we had to piecemeal segments flown with attempts to fly the segments from both ends of the transect lines.
